Check out this special auction of some legendary urban art. The sale features two important works by Faile from the early 2000s, the period when the Brooklyn-based artists’ collective still included founding member Aiko Nakagawa. They also, in Street Life, will include early pieces by Crash, Futura 2000, Rammellzee, and Daze, as well as by Graffiti luminaries such as JA, Yes2, Ces, Rime, Trike 1, and Cope2. The auction is live for bidding until Tuesday, April 30th.

Slaine came back to the shop to get a fresh cut and shave by Mr. Bee. The Boston raised hip hop MC and actor has worked in Special Teamz, La Coka Nostra, Danny Boy, Everlast, and many other groups. Slaine has acted in films such as Gone Baby Gone, The Town, and Killing Them Softly. Check out his just released video Nothin But Business straight from his new album The Boston Project!

Nicholas Adler, Snoop Dog’s brand manager at Cashmere Agency, stopped by today to get a fresh shave and talk some business synergy. Adler’s well-known beard was featured in this exclusive New York Times article. 

Ryan Keeley is an artist whose work is installed in a gallery called #HOOKxNAIL. Keeley’s main medium is paint and thrives off of his surrounding environment. His work combines experimental printing on hand distress canvas with photography. Josh Gad and Alan Zweibel came through the shop today to get shaves for the new show The Getaway.  Alan is a producer and writer who has worked on productions such as SNL, Monk, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and many others. He has won multiple Emmy, Writers Guild of America, and TV Critics awards. Josh Gad is an actor who has appeared in shows and movies such as The Daily Show, Love & Other Drugs, The Rocker and many others. Both came for the new show The Getaway produced by Anthony Bourdain, unfortunately Anthony couldn’t make it. When you gonna come on in Anthony?
